Life Can Be Scary, and That's Ok

Life Can Be Scary, and That's Ok

With how life has been throughout the past couple years, it’s easy to have a daunting outlook on life. The COVID-19 pandemic has lasted much longer than people initially thought. It’s helped expose many systemic inequalities in our society. We have issues with healthcare, public health, economics, and politics. It’s easy to have a negative outlook on life. At times, it can be outright scary.

I'm going to tell you what I’ve told some of my friends: we have to fight on, because we really have no other choice. We are alive right now. We have kids right now. Giving up or giving in doesn't help anyone. We have to keep on going.

There is nothing we can do to prevent the world from being a scary place. What we can do is prepare ourselves to be brave and courageous in order to face it.

You were built to be able to face an unforeseen future. Every moment in the past has been preparing you for the present, and especially the future. The future can be predicted, but not 100% predictable. You have the power to craft it onto what you dare to dream.

Dream big, dream with love, and dream with hope.
