Dear Students: Here are Some Helpful Tips for Distance Learning
This year is going to be an interesting year with distance learning. With COVID-19, many schools are starting the school year with distance learning. That means many students will be doing their schoolwork, classwork, and homework online using computers. With it being so different than what we are used to, it can be very challenging. For distance learning, some tips to help you are: be organized, use your time wisely, and ask your teacher for help.
With distance learning, it helps to be organized. You have to manage a lot of different things such as your online classrooms, online assignments, and your class meeting times. It is much different than what you are used to, so it helps to have all your work organized. It helps if you are using a planner or a calendar.
Another tip would be to use your time wisely. Make sure that you are not wasting time because if you do, you will fall behind and get bad grades. Whenever you are in class, make sure that you are utilizing the time you have in class to learn what you need to. When you have homework to do, make sure that you schedule time to do it.
Whenever you get stuck, it is a good idea to ask your teacher for help. It is much different online than in school, but if you need help, you need to ask for it. You may have to ask your teacher during an online conference, email them, or call or text them. It is important that if you need help, you ask for it.
Being organized, using your time wisely, and asking your teacher for help are great tips to help you during distance learning. Being organized helps you keep your work accessible. Using your time wisely helps you stay on top of your work. Asking for help helps you when you are stuck.Since we have no idea how long distance learning is going to last, we have to make the best of it.
