Having a Good or Bad Day is Your Choice
Each and every day, be a force for good. Be positive. This world has enough negativity. Frankly, I’m tired of feeling negative. I’m tired of negativity draining my life. I’m too damn tired for any of it. I don’t have any time to soak in any pools of negativity. So every day, I make a choice.
Negativity is like quicksand. Once you take a step in, it’s easy to get sucked in. If you get trapped deep enough, you’ll get trapped and drown. One way to prevent this trap is to avoid negativity and quicksand in the first place.
Whenever you say to yourself, “I can’t do this,” “It’s too hard,” or “That’s not for me,” catch it. Recognize that saying these things don’t help you at all whatsoever. Make a conscious effort to not just stop saying it, but replacing it with a positive thought.
Instead, say, “I can do this,” “It’s challenging, but doable,” or “I am worthy.” It makes the world of difference.
Positivity is hands down the best alternative. Positivity can’t help but shine of hope and optimism. Being positive motivates you and others around you. Lighting a positive spark within you invariably opens you to a universe of bountiful possibilities.
Like negativity, positivity is contagious. Being negative gives you negative consequences and being positive (shockingly) brings positive outcomes to your life.
Choose wisely and choose to be the one that will bring you happiness, satisfaction, and fulfillment. It’s a daily choice.
