If You Want Something, You Have To Go for It and Do Whatever It Takes
Hey friend,
This may seem hard to hear, but you need to hear it. This comes from love. I’ve heard you complain so much about your life and how things aren’t better. You want a lot of things, but aren’t doing anything about it. In life, if you want something (whether an accomplishment or material possession), you have to go for it.
Sitting at home waiting for things to happen won’t work. It hasn’t worked for you and if you stay that way, you’ll still be stuck in your current life. Passively waiting for your life goals to come into fruition isn’t a good strategy. Unless you’re retired or built a strong platform to bring in a passive income, you have to take action.
If you want a job, you have to go for it. You have to look for openings. Once you find them, you have to apply for them. That’s not it. If you don’t hear from anyone, follow up and call back. If you don’t get any job offers, keep looking for openings and keep applying.
If you want your own place to live, you need to have a way to pay for it. You’ll need a job and enough money to pay for the initial deposit, monthly rent, and utility bills. If you don’t do what you need to do to get your own place, then you won’t get your own place.
Going for your goal is just the first step. You’ll need to be prepared to do whatever is necessary to reach your goal. If you fail, try again. Adjust and restrategize. If you give up, then you’ll never reach your goal. You will need to muster up the determination and perseverance to get there. This requires a lot of mental discipline and will-power on your behalf.
It may sound like a lot, but it’s your goal. It’s up to you to make it happen.
