Something to be Thankful for: Mornings
One thing that I am thankful for are mornings, especially the ones when I can sit quietly with a cup of coffee. Some of you may already know that I am a morning person, and I like to get up early and get a head start to my day.
In the morning, it’s peaceful. There is this calm and tranquility that exists because the rest of the world (or household) isn’t awake yet. Even when I look outside the window, there are less cars on the road, people are taking morning walks, and the sun is slowly rising.
Mornings are when I like to collect my thoughts and plan the day ahead. As I sit with my coffee, I like to contemplate whatever is on my mind. I can think about what I need to get done, how I’m going to do it, things I need to remember, and what I’d like to do today.
Mornings are the moments when I like to reflect on my life and the road ahead. There is something really special about these moments, and I am very grateful for them.
